After the Work
The engineering does not stop when the workshop closes. Projects run in the background constantly – new customers reaching out, ongoing builds at various stages, components being sourced, problems being worked through. Some of the best conversations about builds happen late in the evening over a cold drink when the pressure of the day has dropped and there is space to think clearly.
Spain provides exactly the right environment for that. Warm evenings that stay comfortable long after midnight, the kind of heat that slows everything down to a pace that actually allows proper thought. 33 degrees at night with a pool nearby is a reasonable working condition for the conversations that move projects forward.
Behind the Fluff
Social media in the automotive world is full of perfect shots of perfect builds in perfect lighting. That is part of the story and there is nothing wrong with it. But it is not the whole story. The whole story includes the late evenings, the phone calls with customers in different time zones, the problems that do not have obvious solutions and the moments between the work where everything gets processed and the next steps become clear.
